This is an excellent tour to explore the great amazon rainforest and discover the marvelous birds in search of more wildlife spotting experiences.
This tour takes us bird watching on the famous road to Manu, home to 1025 species of birds, it is one of the rare areas in South America with 1716295.22 hectares of primary forest. That is possible thanks to the huge protection area, which includes areas from 250 meters above sea level to 4000 meters above sea level. Thus it combines Andean ecosystems (3500-4000m), dwarf forest (2500-3500m), cloud forest (1200-2500m), high rainforest (500-1200m) and low rainforest (500-200m). In addition, you can find lagoons and small lakes. This leads to perfect conditions for observing and photographing good wildlife.
Summary:
This Manu Road birding tour begins with birding in Huacarpay and continuing along the Manu road, the entrance of the Manu National Park, we will descend to bird watch through the cloud and rain forest and after 8 days of bird watching, we will leave on a river trip to Puerto Maldonado where our tour will end.
