You can expect to see a variety of remarkable bird species, including Guanay and Red-legged Cormorants, Peruvian Boobies, Inca Terns, Blackish Oystercatchers, Peruvian Pelicans, Gray Gulls, Surf Cinclodes, Humboldt Penguins, South American sea lions, and many more. The Villa wetlands host a rich diversity of birds, with 147 migratory species and 63 resident species. For this full day birding adventure we will start with an early morning pickup as we set off toward Pucusana. Upon arrival, we will begin our exciting boat trip around Pucusana Bay, providing a unique opportunity to observe remarkable endemic species such as the Humboldt Penguin, Red-legged Cormorant, Inca Tern, Blackish Oystercatcher, Guanay Cormorant, Peruvian Pelican, and the exclusive Surf Cinclodes.
At midday, we will transfer you to a charming restaurant where you can indulge in exquisite Peruvian cuisine.
Around 1:30 PM, we will proceed to the Villa Wetlands, a natural reserve nestled in the heart of modern Lima and known for its significant biodiversity. Here, you will have the chance to observe a variety of bird species, including the Peruvian Meadowlark and the Peruvian Thick Knee, Pacific Dove, Killdeer, Solitary Sandpiper, Wilson´s Phalarope, Amazilia Hummingbird, Aplomado Falcon, Southern Crested Caracara, among others.
In the late afternoon, around 5:00 PM, we will begin our journey back to Miraflores, ensuring you return to your hotel with lasting memories of this extraordinary experience.
