Manu National Park 8 Days
Wildlife Tour
The Manu National Park is one of the biggest wildlife sanctuaries in South America. While most of the forests in the world have been modified by human activity, the Manu remains as one of the last untouched places on earth. Due to its remote location, hundreds of unique species have been able to survive there without the interference of human civilization. These species include giant otters, black caimans, jaguars, spectacled bears, tapirs, ocelots, among other animals.
The Manu National Park is also home to numerous plant species, such as orchids, nectandras, cedroranas and podocarpus. These plants thrive inside the different biomes located inside the park. According to some estimates, around 1108 plant species have been identified.
